You can configure an email provider for sending user invitations, password reset notifications, etc.

DocSpring will check for configured environment variables and use the first one it finds, in this order:

• Postmark: POSTMARK_API_TOKEN
• Sendgrid: SENDGRID_USERNAME + SENDGRID_PASSWORD (or SENDGRID_API_KEY)
• Mailgun: MAILGUN_API_KEY
• Gmail: GMAIL_USERNAME + GMAIL_PASSWORD
• AWS SES: AWS_SES_ACCESS_KEY_ID + AWS_SES_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY
• SMTP: SMTP_SERVER + SMTP_USERNAME + SMTP_PASSWORD

If you don’t need to send emails, you can set DISABLE_EMAILS=true to disable the “No email service has been configured” message when the application boots.
